Basketball Recap: Ocean View Comes Up Short

Ocean View was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a 67-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of the California Condors. The Seahawks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Condors apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2022.

Despite the loss, Ocean View still got an impressive performance from Zeke Case, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 15 boards. With that strong performance, Case is now averaging an impressive 8.2 boards per game. Cavin Flanagan was another key player, putting up ten points.

Ocean View's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for California, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-6.

Ocean View wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 79-40 loss against Corona del Mar on the 11th. As for California, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 64-55 defeat against Esperanza on the 11th.
