Football Recap: Colfax's Victory on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Colfax had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 31 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Monday. Everything went their way against the Lincoln Fighting Zebras as they made off with a 26-6 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Falcons also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Colfax didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. Miakota Toy led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by herself.

Colfax's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Lincoln, their loss was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Colfax will venture away from home to square off against Center at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lincoln, they will take on Gridley at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
