Mariposa County waltzed into their match on Wednesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They never let the Delhi Hawks get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Grizzlies, who have now won six contests by ten runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Heely Patterson, who scored three runs and stole three bases while going 1-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Grace Beery, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-3.

Mariposa County's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-6. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.8 runs over those games. As for Delhi, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Mariposa County beat the Hawks by a score of 18-1 later that day.
