Fayetteville-Perry hadn't done well against Blanchester recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Rockets were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Wildcats. For the Rockets, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 win the Wildcats walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2024.

Fayetteville-Perry's offense was headlined by Christina Murphy and Tegan Combs, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Maya Murphy and her 15 assists. Ellie Shiffer controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Fayetteville-Perry is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. As for Blanchester, they dropped their record down to 0-5 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.
