Volleyball Game Preview: Bellarmine College Prep Bells vs. Archbishop Mitty Monarchs

The Bellarmine College Prep Bells will take on the Archbishop Mitty Monarchs at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with four defeats in a row, Bellarmine College Prep turned things around against Junipero Serra on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Padres by a score of 3-1.

The final score came out to 25-13, 17-25, 25-15, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Archbishop Mitty entered their tilt with Valley Christian on Tuesday with seven consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with eight. They put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Monarchs not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 8th (when they won 3-0).

Archbishop Mitty not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Valley Christian between 19 and 20 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-19, 25-20.

Archbishop Mitty's win was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 31-2. As for Bellarmine College Prep, their victory bumped their record up to 20-14.
