It was a good run, but Olentangy unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Olentangy Orange Pioneers by a score of 9-8. Braves fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Pioneers since on Saturday.

Olentangy's defeat dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Olentangy Orange, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 18-5.

Looking ahead, Olentangy will take on Pickerington North at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Braves surely won't give up without a fight. As for Olentangy Orange, they will venture away from home to face off against Teays Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Pioneers 3.5, the Vikings 2.2) so any runs scored will be well earned.
