Baseball Recap: Henninger Takes a Loss

Whitesboro hit Henninger with a six-run second inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Black Knights fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 6-5.

Henninger's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Whitesboro, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.

Henninger will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Jamesville-DeWitt at 5:00 p.m. on the 19th. As for Whitesboro, they are taking a road trip to square off against Holland Patent at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
