Basketball Recap: Highland Park Takes a Loss

Highland Park has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They fell 45-34 to the Lyons Lions on Friday.

Highland Park's defeat dropped their record down to 20-10. As for Lyons, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-15.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Highland Park will be playing in front of their home fans against Oak Park-River Forest at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Highland Park is facing Oak Park-River Forest at the right time seeing as Oak Park-River Forest is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Lyons, they are taking a road trip to take on Curie at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
