Alexandria made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Anniston, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Valley Cubs fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 20-18 on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Valley Cubs in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost three in a row.

Despite the defeat, Alexandria saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Monqre Morris Jr (Mj) picked up 90 receiving yards and one TD.
