Baseball Recap: Kettle Moraine Comes Up Short

After flying high against Waukesha South on Saturday, Kettle Moraine came back down to earth. The Lasers fell just short of the Oconomowoc Raccoons by a score of 3-2 on Monday. The Lasers haven't had much luck with the Raccoons recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Kettle Moraine now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Oconomowoc, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-3.

Coming up, Kettle Moraine will welcome Janesville Craig at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Oconomowoc, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, an 8-6 win against Waukesha North on the 6th.
