Pope Francis Prep entered their tilt with Longmeadow on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They took down the Longmeadow Lancers 62-46. Given the Cardinals' advantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts basketball rankings (they are ranked fourth, while the Lancers are ranked 140th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Pope Francis Prep's victory bumped their record up to 12-1. As for Longmeadow, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 2-6.
