Recap: Hamburg Hawks vs. Northern Lebanon Vikings
There's no place like home for The Hamburg Hawks, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They came out on top against Northern Lebanon by a score of 41-34 on Friday. This was one game where the offenses had no trouble playing at a high level.
When it comes to explaining why Northern Lebanon lost, one person who can't be blamed is Myles Watson. Despite the final result, he rushed for 244 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 9.8 yards per carry.
Hamburg now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Northern Lebanon, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
Hamburg will head out on the road to face off against Columbia at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Columbia will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last. As for Northern Lebanon, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Annville-Cleona at 7:00 p.m.
