Basketball Recap: St. Mary's Extends Road Winning Streak to 12

St. Mary put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the Akron-Westfield Westerners as the St. Mary's Hawks made off with a 49-27 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Hawks also won the last time the pair played back in February.

St. Mary's victory was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.3 points per game. As for Akron-Westfield, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.
