Kimberly is a perfect 10-0 against Oshkosh North since May of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Papermakers will venture away from home to challenge the Spartans at 5:00 p.m. Kimberly is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.8 runs per game this season.

The scorekeeper got an easy start on Tuesday as neither Kimberly nor Kaukauna made it on the board until the fifth inning. The Papermakers' pitchers stepped up to hand the Galloping Ghosts a 4-0 shutout. Winning may never get old, but the Papermakers sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Kimberly saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Connor Olson, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run. That stolen base marked the first that Olson has snagged this season. Jack Anzelmo was another, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Meanwhile, Oshkosh North had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 6-2 victory over Oshkosh West on Tuesday.

Zach Kiffmeyer spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on seven hits.

Kimberly's record now sits at 6-2-1. As for Oshkosh North, their win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 5-7.

Kimberly took their victory against Oshkosh North in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 9-0 score. Will the Papermakers repeat their success, or do the Spartans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
