Baseball Recap: Lawrence North Wins Going Away Against Pike

Lawrence North was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Pike on Tuesday. The Wildcats put the hurt on the Red Devils with a sharp 9-3 win. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Red Devils recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Elijah Moffit looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out six over four innings pitched. Those six strikeouts gave him a new career-high.

On the hitting side, Brendan Boynton was incredible, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Anthony Ludington was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two runs and one double.

Lawrence North's win bumped their record up to 8-13. As for Pike, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-8.
