Soccer Recap: Seward Comes Up Short

After flying high against Lakeview on Thursday, Seward came back down to earth. The Bluejays lost 4-0 to the Northwest Vikings on Monday. The defeat continues a trend for Seward in their meetings with Northwest: they've now lost six in a row.

Seward's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Northwest, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Seward will square off against rival Aurora on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Northwest is set to face off against their familiar foe Lexington at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
