Center Line had lost ten games on the road dating back to last season, but after bumping their record up to 2-8  on Tuesday that streak is in the rearview. They were the clear victors by  an  18-11 margin over Roseville. Center Line's hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  runs they've scored all season.
 Claire Ogden made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out 13 batters over  seven innings while giving up  eight earned  (and three unearned) runs off   12  hits. Ogden was even better at the plate,  going 2-for-5 with five  runs, one  triple,  and one  stolen base. She is  on a roll when it comes to  triples, as she's  now  hit  at least one in each of the last three games she's  played.
 In other batting news,  Madison Ienco and  Amiera Lewis did most of the damage at the plate:  Ienco  got on base  in five of her six plate appearances with three  runs, four  RBI,  and one  double, while  Lewis  went 3-for-5 with four  RBI, one  stolen base,  and one  run. Those  RBI were  Lewis' first of the season. Another player making a difference was  Sydney Zosel, who  got on base  in three of her five plate appearances with four  runs.
As for Roseville,  they are  on  an  18-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-16. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game  on Friday (ten), they still had to take the loss.
 On Roseville's side,  Maddie Rodgers and  Kennedie Shepherd-Fitpatrick stepped up to the plate in a big way.  Rodgers  went 3-for-5 with two  stolen bases, one  triple,  and one  run, while  Shepherd-Fitpatrick  went 2-for-4 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and one  double.  Caliyah Johnson was another key player,  going 1-for-3 with three  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  RBI.
 Center Line does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Roseville, they will challenge Fraser at 10:00  a.m.  on  the 29th.
