Softball Recap: Tomahawk Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Tomahawk waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 9-6 victory over the Rhinelander Hodags. This was a revenge game for the Hatchets: when they faced off against the Hodags last Monday, they had to take a 5-4 loss.

The win got Tomahawk back to even at 7-7. As for Rhinelander, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-8 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Tomahawk will head out to challenge Wausau East at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Rhinelander, they will venture away from home to take on Antigo at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Red Robins have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.9 runs per game on average), something the Hodags will no doubt try to take advantage of.
