Volleyball Recap: Axtell's Luck Changes for the Better on Monday

Axtell not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since September 30th (when they won 3-0). They put the hurt on the Southern Valley Eagles with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory was some much needed relief for the Wildcats as it spelled an end to their six-match losing streak.

Addyson Skaggs paced Axtell's offense, picking up 11 kills. Skaggs got some help from Madison Wells and her 30 assists. Ashlynn Nelson controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Axtell's win bumped their record up to 13-16. As for Southern Valley, the loss snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 10-20 record.

Axtell has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Amherst on the 27th. Southern Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
