Volleyball Recap: Sioux City West Comes Up Short

Sioux City West came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the South Sioux City Cardinals. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Wolverines have suffered against the Cardinals since September 6, 2018.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-10, 25-21.

Sioux City West's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for South Sioux City, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-7.

Looking ahead, Sioux City West will welcome Le Mars at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for South Sioux City, they will venture away from home to challenge Skutt Catholic at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The SkyHawks will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Cardinals surely won't give up without a fight.
