Softball Recap: San Marcos Takes a Loss

San Marcos lost against Dos Pueblos back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Royals came up short against the Chargers, falling 12-2.

Kayla Aguilar made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run and one double.

San Marcos has also been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season. As for Dos Pueblos, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. San Marcos is set to face off against their familiar foe Ventura at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Dos Pueblos will take on rival Oxnard at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
