Basketball Recap: Westtown's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Ten

Westtown waltzed into their matchup on Friday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. They breezed by the George School Cougars to the tune of 68-25. Westtown has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 contests by 23 points or more this season.

Westtown has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 20-3 record this season. As for George School, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-7.

Westtown will take on Perkiomen Valley at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday. Perkiomen Valley knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight matchups -- so hopefully Westtown likes a good challenge. As for George School, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Germantown Friends at 5:30 p.m. Germantown Friends' defense has only allowed 29.1 points per game this season, so George School's offense will have their work cut out for them.
