Soccer Recap: Milton Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Milton can now relate to. They fell just short of the Pace Patriots by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 6-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2023.

Their goal came courtesy of Breckyn Greenfield, who's now up to 12 this season.

Milton's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5-3. As for Pace, their victory bumped their record up to 5-10-1.

Milton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pace, they will challenge Niceville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pace's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
