Soccer Game Preview: Leland vs. Suttons Bay

Leland has gone a perfect 10-0 against Suttons Bay recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Comets will be playing at home against the Norsemen at 6:30 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Monday, Leland made easy work of Chippewa Hills and carried off a 7-2 win. The result was nothing new for Leland, who have now won five matches by four goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Suttons Bay waltzed into their contest on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They never let the Rayders get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory. Give Suttons Bay's defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

The win made it two in a row for Leland and bumps their season record up to 10-2-1. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 12 goals over those two games. As for Suttons Bay, their win bumped their record up to 10-3.

Leland beat Suttons Bay by a goal when the teams last played back in April, winning 2-1. Do the Comets have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Norsemen turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
