Football Recap: Spotsylvania Takes a Loss

Spotsylvania lost against Brooke Point back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Knights were just a hair shy of victory and fell 20-19 to the Black Hawks. The loss put an end to the Knights' undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Spotsylvania fell to 2-1. As for Brooke Point, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Spotsylvania and Brooke Point will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Knights are set to take on their familiar foe Culpeper County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Brooke Point will face off against rival Riverbend at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
