Volleyball Recap: Bella Jaqua and Maggie Allen Secure Win for Savannah Arts Academy

It's playoff time, and Savannah Arts Academy had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past the Hardaway Hawks 3-0 on Tuesday. The win was familiar territory for the Panthers, who have now won three matchups in a row.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Savannah Arts Academy was: they took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-8, 25-15, 25-7.

Savannah Arts Academy was led to victory by Maggie Allen and Bella Jaqua. Allen had 21 digs and two aces, while Jaqua had six digs and three aces. Allen is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last nine games she's played.

Savannah Arts Academy's victory bumped their record up to 16-28. As for Hardaway, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season.

Savannah Arts Academy will challenge Jackson on Saturday. Hardaway does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
