Baseball Recap: Madison Comes Up Short

Madison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 13-2 to the Community Trojans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 14-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2025.

Madison saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jacob Jackson, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI. Jackson has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times he's played.

Madison's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Community, their record now sits at 4-2-1.

Coming up, Madison will venture away from home to square off against Sturgeon at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Community, they will welcome Slater at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
