Baseball Recap: Maryville Comes Up Short

Maryville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 11-4 to the Savannah Savages. The Spoofhounds were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Savages earlier this season, when they won 11-5.

Maryville now has a losing record of 11-12. As for Savannah, their win bumped their record up to 13-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Maryville will challenge Chillicothe at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Hornets will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last. As for Savannah, they will face off against East Buchanan at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
