Lebanon posted their closest victory since October 12, 2024 on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Willard Tigers 2-1. This was a revenge game for the Yellowjackets: when they faced off against the Tigers back in September, they had to take a 3-1 loss.

Lebanon's offense was headlined by Livia Ahmann and Lily Waterman, who picked up nine kills apiece. They got some help from Harper Starnes and her 25 assists. Baylyn Williams controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Willard lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Kylin Vandever, who had 19 digs. The team also got some help courtesy of Ashlyn Hurd, who had 11 digs and two aces.

Lebanon's win bumped their record up to 11-16-3. As for Willard, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 20-9-4.

Lebanon has already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against Carthage on the 14th. As for Willard, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 loss against Republic on the 14th.
