Baseball Recap: Nokomis Warriors vs. Lawrence Bulldogs
Nokomis won against Waterville on Thursday with five runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Monday. The Warriors walked away with a 5-1 win over the Lawrence Bulldogs. This was a revenge game for the Warriors: when they faced off against the Bulldogs two weeks ago, they had to take a 2-1 loss.

Seth Bowden made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run over seven innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI.
In other batting news, Owen Buck was excellent, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.
