Basketball Recap: Cleveland Takes a Loss

Cleveland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They lost 71-47 to the Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart Mustangs. The Clippers lost against the Mustangs in their previous head to head back in February of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 83-26 score last time.

Cleveland's defeat dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-7.

Cleveland will head out to challenge New Ulm Cathedral at 7:30 p.m. on January 30th. Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart has already played their next game, a 60-51 win against Cedar Mountain on the 24th.
