Mesquite waltzed into their match on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Eastmark Firebirds with a sharp 3-0 win.

Mesquite never let Eastmark on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-17, 25-22.

Despite the loss, Eastmark still got an impressive performance from Arjun Sagoo, who had 11 digs and one assist.

Mesquite pushed their record up to 9-8 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Eastmark, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mesquite will challenge Cactus Shadows at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Falcons will roll in looking for their 12th straight win, something the Wildcats surely won't give up without a fight. As for Eastmark, they will take on Crismon at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Rattlers will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Firebirds surely won't give up without a fight.
