Basketball Recap: Pueblo South Takes a Loss

Pueblo South lost against Golden back in December of 2017 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Pueblo South Colts fell 44-35 to the Golden Demons. The game marked the Colts' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Golden found their leader in sophomore Dylan Paulson, who posted seven points in addition to nine boards and five assists. Those five assists set a new season-high mark for Paulson. Another player making a difference was Aidan Owens, who earned ten points.

Pueblo South dropped their record down to 5-7 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Golden, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

Pueblo South has already played their next game (against Pueblo Central), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Golden wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 77-60 victory against Summit on the 16th.
