Baseball Recap: Case Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Case had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Bourne Canalmen a 10-0 shutout. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 14-2 back in April.

Not much got past Bryce Harris, who gave up just three hits and racked up 11 Ks to keep Bourne off the board. Harris has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Case got a massive performance out of Aaron Sellers, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. Those three stolen bases gave Sellers a new career-high. Lucas Beaulieu was another key player, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Case's record is now 10-7. As for Bourne, they dropped their record down to 1-9 with the loss, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.
