Basketball Recap: Franklin County Takes a Loss

Franklin County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 57-51 heartbreaker at the hands of the Frankfort Panthers. The Flyers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Panthers earlier this season, when they won 53-43.

Franklin County's defeat dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Frankfort, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Franklin County will square off against Rockcastle County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Frankfort, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Model at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
