Volleyball Recap: Monday's Win Is Miami Trace's Fifth in Last Six Outings

Miami Trace hadn't done well against Athens recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Panthers came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 3-1. This was payback for the Panthers, who suffered a 2-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-19, 15-25, 25-10.

Miami Trace found their leader in sophomore Keionnie Ackley, who had 20 digs and one assist.

Miami Trace has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. As for Athens, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-7.

Coming up, Miami Trace will head out on the road to challenge Unioto at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Athens does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
