Basketball Recap: Ryan Curtiss Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat West Geauga

Chagrin Falls won the last time they faced West Geauga and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Chagrin Falls Tigers managed a 54-48 win over the West Geauga Wolverines.

Chagrin Falls got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Ryan Curtiss out in front who went 8 of 14 on his way to 18 points and eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob Kay, who posted 13 points.

Chagrin Falls now has a winning record of 2-1. As for West Geauga, their defeat was their first of the season and also makes their record 2-1.

Chagrin Falls will square off against Hawken at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. Hawken knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Chagrin Falls likes a good challenge. As for West Geauga, they will hit the road for the first time this season to square off against Orange at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
