Baseball Recap: Campbell County Comes Up Short

Campbell County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 14-2 to the Karns Beavers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Beavers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-1 last Wednesday.

Campbell County saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rylan Rice, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI.

Campbell County's loss dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Karns, the win got them back to even at 14-14.

Coming up, Campbell County will take on Jellico at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Karns, they will square off against Bearden at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
