Basketball Game Preview: Aberdeen Christian Knights vs. Timber Lake Panthers

The Aberdeen Christian Knights will square off against the Timber Lake Panthers at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Thursday, Aberdeen Christian strolled past Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] with points to spare, taking the game 56-39. That's two games straight that the Knights have won by exactly 17 points.

Meanwhile, Timber Lake waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They blew past the Wolverines 58-29. 58 seems to be a good number for the Panthers as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.

Timber Lake's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-2. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.5 points per game. As for Aberdeen Christian, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-3.
