After low-scoring totals in their previous four contest, Ledford brought some dynamite into their most recent matchup. They claimed a resounding 46-0 victory over the High Point Central Bison. The Panthers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Dominique Arthur had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 139 yards and four scores while picking up 8.7 yards per carry. He has become a key player for Ledford: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least 100 rushing yards, but 0-4 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyson Chavis, who gained 72 total yards and a touchdown.

Ledford's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-5. As for High Point Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.

Looking ahead, Ledford will venture away from home to challenge Montgomery Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for High Point Central, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Randleman at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th.
