Volleyball Game Preview: Maranatha Christian Academy Eagles vs. Sabetha Bluejays + Official Tickets

After both having extra time off, the Maranatha Christian Academy Eagles and the Sabetha Bluejays will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Maranatha Christian Academy is coming into the match hot, having won their last ten games.

On Monday, Maranatha Christian Academy beat Bishop Ward 2-0.

Maranatha Christian Academy easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Sabetha came up short against Hiawatha on Saturday and fell 2-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Bluejays in their meetings with the Red Hawks: they've now lost three in a row.

While Sabetha was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-22.

Sabetha's loss dropped their record down to 4-29-1. As for Maranatha Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 34-4.

Maranatha Christian Academy was able to grind out a solid win over Sabetha in their previous matchup back in September, winning 2-0. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bluejays turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
