The team also got some help courtesy of  Kenly Whitaker, who  dropped  a double-double on ten points and ten  rebounds.
 Despite the  loss, Trinity saw an underclassman step up:  Brennan Thomas  scored eight points along with nine  rebounds.
 Eastern Randolph's victory bumped their record up to 5-19. As for Trinity, they  still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-24.
 Eastern Randolph will head out on the road to  take on  Providence Grove at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. As for Trinity, they will  challenge Southwestern Randolph at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. Southwestern Randolphpresents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Trinity in North Carolina (Southwestern Randolph is ranked 117th, while Trinity is ranked 548th).
