Softball Recap: St. Anthony Village Gets the Win

While St. Anthony Village put up some runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Robbinsdale Cooper. The Huskies blew past the Hawks 9-0. The Huskies not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since May 20, 2024 (when they won 24-0).

Not much got past Ellie Munson, who gave up just four hits and racked up 13 Ks to keep Robbinsdale Cooper off the board. Those 13 strikeouts set a new season-high mark for Munson.

At the plate, Caitlyn Rosha was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run. Another player making a difference was Aleece Kagol, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

St. Anthony Village was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .429. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

St. Anthony Village's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-11. As for Robbinsdale Cooper, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-3.

St. Anthony Village has already played their next game (against Minneapolis Southwest), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Robbinsdale Cooper, they will head out to square off against Roosevelt at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
