Adelanto is 6-1 against Excelsior Charter since May of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Saints will venture away from home to challenge the Eagles at 3:15 p.m. Excelsior Charter took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Adelanto, who comes in off a win.

Adelanto is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Victor Valley with a sharp 23-4 victory on Wednesday. The Saints might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matches by ten runs or more this season.

Meanwhile, Excelsior Charter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 21-6 to University Prep. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Eagles have suffered since May 10, 2024.

Tristen Gonzalez made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Khloe Mata, who went 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

Excelsior Charter's loss dropped their record down to 6-6-1. As for Adelanto, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Adelanto came out on top in a nail-biter against Excelsior Charter in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, sneaking past 11-10. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Saints since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
