Softball Recap: Columbus Continues Road Dominance on Wednesday

Columbus strolled into their game on Wednesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They blew past the Evander Childs Tigers 29-6. The Sharks have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

Columbus' victory was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0. As for Evander Childs, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Columbus will take on rival Walton at 4:00 p.m. on the 21st. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Sharks 2.2, the Wildcats 3) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Evander Childs is set to square off against their familiar foe Stevenson at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
