Cortez scored the most points they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They received a blow as they fell 64-47 to the Coronado Dons. The Colts' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row.

Kailyn Holsey was her usual excellent self, dropping a triple-double on 17 points, 14 boards, and 17 steals for Coronado. The dominant performance gave Holsey a new career-high in steals. Aundrea Rodriguez was another key player, dropping a double-double on 14 points and 11 boards.

Cortez's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Coronado, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-7.
