Basketball Recap: Alamo Navajo Comes Up Short

Alamo Navajo lost against Quemado back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Alamo Navajo Cougars took a 56-40 bruising from the Quemado Eagles. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Alamo Navajo's loss dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Quemado, their victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-5.

Looking ahead, Alamo Navajo will square off against Hondo Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Quemado, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 37-29 win against Cliff on the 8th.
