Basketball Recap: Meridian Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Meridian, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They walked away with a 62-54 victory over the Nooksack Valley Pioneers on Tuesday. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 69-56 victory last Wednesday.

Meridian's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.5 points over those games. As for Nooksack Valley, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 9-11 record this season.

As of now, neither Meridian nor Nooksack Valley have any future games scheduled.
