Basketball Recap: Waxahachie Prep Warriors vs. Winston School of Dallas Eagles

Waxahachie Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 58-46 to the Winston School of Dallas Eagles. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2023.

Winston School of Dallas' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Drew Dickey, who posted 16 points along with six steals. Dickey is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Christian Gutierrez was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on 16 points and nine steals.
