Baseball Recap: Glen Allen Takes a Loss

After flying high against Thomas Dale on Monday, Glen Allen came back down to earth. The Jaguars took a 9-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cosby Titans on Friday. The Jaguars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Titans apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Glen Allen's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Cosby, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-1-1.

Looking ahead, Glen Allen will head out on the road to take on J.R. Tucker at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cosby, they will be playing at home against Clover Hill at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Cavaliers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.57 runs per game on average), something the Titans will no doubt try to take advantage of.
